Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Technician to deploy, service, and upgrade Building Management and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems in AWS data centers.

You will work with engineers and operations teams to ensure reliable infrastructure operations. You will monitor, diagnose, calibrate, and test control systems, read schematics, supervise low‑voltage wiring, and support safety and change management processes on site.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field with 1+ years of relevant industrial Controls or HVAC controls experience, OR 3+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team members on BMS/EPMS operation.
• Manage small to mid-size projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnose and maintain BMS/EPMS programming code and hardware.
• Install and calibrate sensors; read electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
