Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician for Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within AWS data centers in Sterling, VA.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industrial or HVAC controls experience
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting with standard hand tools
• Wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems knowledge

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems in data centers
• Mentor Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers
• Diagnose and maintain BMS/EPMS programming and hardware
• Handle server, controller, and network provisioning and testing
