Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Technician to support building management and electrical monitoring across AWS facilities.

You will install, test, calibrate, and maintain BMS and EPMS systems, troubleshoot field devices, and drive reliability for critical data center infrastructure. You will work with a diverse team of engineers and technicians, manage small projects, mentor facilities staff, and help optimize control strategies while following safety and

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Associate degree or certified training in a related technical field with 1+ years of relevant industrial controls experience, OR 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers.
• Mentor and train Facilities team members on BMS/EPMS operation.
• Manage small to medium projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot programming code and hardware for BMS/EPMS in data centers.
