Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist Lead for a Corpus Christi, TX data center project. You will lead the technical interpretation of drawings and specifications, coordinate with home office and client representatives, and oversee construction document control in the field.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 15-20 years in construction management for heavy-industrial facilities including life sciences and datacenters.
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, codes, and standards.
Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance in resolving in-progress issues related to drawings and specifications; coordinate responses to meet project needs.
Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering documents and participate in change management.
