Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist Lead for a Corpus Christi, TX project. You will lead technical interpretation of drawings and specs, coordinate with home office engineering and client representatives, and provide on-site support across design-build efforts.

The role emphasizes leadership, disciplined documentation management, and mentorship while advancing data center construction processes and the integration of complex engineering systems.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or fifteen to twenty years in heavy-industrial construction management.
• Ability to read and understand Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering drawings.
• Experience interpreting home office documents for construction purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical guidance on drawings and specs, clarifying and expediting responses.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client reps.
• Provide on-site support interpreting documents and changes.
• Manage permit processes with AHJs.
• Coordinate with Design-Build contractors in field.
• Coordinate document control and revision management.
• Respond to specification deviations and NCRs with project approvals.
• Mentor and guide the team toward objectives.
