Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist Lead for a Corpus Christi, TX data center project. You will lead technical interpretation of drawings, coordinate with home office engineering, and provide on-site support through change management processes.

The role requires extensive experience in civil/structural engineering or heavy-industrial construction, with strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and liaise with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 15–20 years in construction management for heavy-industrial facilities including datacenters.
• Understanding of construction means, methods, codes, and standards.
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in resolving in-progress issues and disputes related to drawings and specs.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering documents and input to change management.
