Job summary

Jacobs in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist to join our data center construction team. You will resolve technical interpretation of drawings, liaise with home office engineering, and support field contractors with revision control and change management processes.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure timely information flow, and engage with AHJs during permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Engage in resolving in-progress issues related to drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client reps.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting documents and drawings.
• Engage in the permitting process with AHJs.
• Work with Design-Build contractors in the field.
• Manage revision control for construction documents.
• Ensure contractors have latest revisions.
• Communicate changes in design and installation timely.
• Support field design revision processes with Project Controls.
