Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist Lead for our Corpus Christi, TX project in data center construction. You will guide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications, coordinate with home office engineering, and manage field document control to ensure project needs are met.

Role involves leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with design-build teams, AHJs, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 15–20 years in construction management for heavy-industrial facilities including datacenters.
• Understanding of construction means, methods, codes, and standards.
• Ability to read and understand Civil/Structural/Architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in resolving in-progress issues related to drawings and specifications; coordinate with home office/responsible engineer to meet project needs.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering documents and drawings; input to change management.
