Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction MEPR) to lead design, preconstruction, and construction activities on high‑impact data center projects. You’ll collaborate daily with Facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, and operations to deliver on time and budget.

Responsibilities include managing multiple campus projects, developing master development programs, entitlements, pricing evaluations, and interfacing with sales to support bespoke

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures across delivery methods.
• Experience with PowerPoint for executive updates and Excel for budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on projects across campuses.
• Maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple projects.
• Create development programs and master campus designs with capital budgets.
• Manage entitlements, permitting, and procurement processes.
• Develop and update site master plans to reflect timelines and budgets.
• Write scopes of work and evaluate pricing for design/construction/commissioning services.
• Collaborate with procurement teams on equipment procurement and delivery.
• Coordinate submittals with site stakeholders and ensure cost-to-date tracking.
• Represent QTS in OAC meetings and client communications.
