Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Project Manager - Data Center Construction in Pasco, WA to lead project planning, execution, and controls for large data center builds. You will guide engineering teams, coordinate with contractors and design partners, and ensure delivery on time and on budget with top-tier client satisfaction.

The role requires 5–7 years in project engineering/construction, OSHA-30, and experience with general contracting and large data centers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Completion of OSHA 30 class is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in project engineering or construction.
• Experience working for a General Contractor.
• Experience on large data center projects is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE), LEED, DBIA designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify resources and develop project plans, schedules, and scopes of work to achieve goals.
• Serve as primary liaison for project engineering staff during construction and phase transitions.
• Coordinate with General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Owner and stakeholders for project execution.
• Define responsibilities and coach staff for accountability.
• Assist business development in responses to RFPs and bids.
• Assess site safety and ensure safety compliance for on-site personnel.
• Review subcontractor billing and prepare change orders.
• Deliver data to support project forecasts.
