Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in New Florence, Missouri, is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join the onsite Construction Management team and drive fast, high-quality delivery of data center construction projects.

You will coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning, manage RFIs, change orders, and document control, and maintain dashboards for regional leadership. The role requires 3+ years of vendor management and 5+ years in data center engineering or

Qualifications

3+ years of vendor management experience.
4+ years of data center or other critical environment experience.
5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
5+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience.

Responsibilities

Establish communication and coordination across a data center region’s general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Develop and maintain a tracking system for design changes, RFIs, and change orders and dashboard for regional leadership review.
Requesting and reviewing MOPs (Method of Procedure) for proper detail, necessity, and risk.
On-boarding new vendors for badging and orientation.
Updating project management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents.
Monitor delivery of owner furnished material to site.
Compiling and storing construction data from vendors.
Managing checklists including substantial completion checks, safety, and quality.
