McKinstry is hiring for a Project Engineer - Data Center Construction in Pasco, WA. You will support project management through documentation, procurement, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

The role emphasizes RFI handling, submittals, safety, and timely communication with architects, engineers, owners, and other stakeholders to support the Project Manager and deliver on project milestones.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or comparable degree.
• Experience on large data center projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, proposals, estimates, and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Support RFP and procurement processes.
• Track current and future jobs and assist with staffing projections.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and related documents to answer questions.
• Coordinate equipment and materials procurement.
• Assist in the development of scope of work for subcontractors.
• Coordinate job set-up, mobilization, project administration, and closeout.
• Support scheduling and coordination of trades.
• Coordinate McKinstry scope of work with drawings and specifications.
• Assist with project start and closeout documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting.
• Communicate with stakeholders to assist the Project Manager.
• Coordinate field activities for self-performed and subcontracted work.
