McKinstry in Pasco, WA seeks a Senior Project Engineer - Data Center Construction to oversee complex projects from initiation to closeout. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, manage procurement, and support RFPs while ensuring fiscal performance.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant BA/BS, 2+ years as a Project Engineer, and knowledge of construction management with financial acumen; PE/LEED designations are a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or comparable degree.
• 2 years of Project Engineer role equivalent.
• Knowledge of construction management, commercial building process, and financial acumen.
• Experience on large data center projects preferred.
• PE and LEED designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel as needed.
• Support RFP processes and coordinate equipment procurement with purchasing and vendors.
• Assist in development of scope of work for subcontractors and oversee trades scheduling.
• Assist with project controls, including subcontractor billings, and client billings; oversee project fiscal performance.
• Prepare monthly project accounting reviews and maintain cost issue logs.
