Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support a large data center project. You will coordinate safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade coordination with the Superintendent/PM to deliver on scope.

Role requires collaboration, attention to schedule, risk management, and strong communication as you drive project milestones and ensure quality results. This position emphasizes IIF culture and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering with 2+ years of related PM experience; or an associate degree with 4+ years of PM experience.
• Knowledge of shop drawing submittal, reading plans and specs, and safety standards.
• Proficient with MS Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, P6, Bluebeam, and Prolog.
• Exposure to legal/accounting background, value engineering, and lifecycle costing preferred.
• OSHA 30 current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Keep the project schedules; assist with problem resolution and master schedule updates.
• Initiate and review close-out procedures; maintain submittal logs and warranties for project work.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs; maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and OCO.
• Manage material procurement, including submittal approval, fabrication status, and delivery status.
• Ensure timely submittal process and changes with owner and trade contractors.
• Support early close-out and final acceptance with the owner.
