Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Alexandria, LA, is seeking an experienced Assistant MEP Manager to oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Technology systems on a large data center project.

Responsibilities include coordinating design through closeout, promoting IIF safety culture, coordinating with clients and subs, and ensuring schedules, quality, and cost feasibility while staying compliant with codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 3+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience.
• LEED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct MEP systems on a project from design through completion and close out.
• Provide technical guidance to project team members and review plans for constructability and cost feasibility.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure timely, quality results.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and Change Orders and help manage project risk and safety culture.
