Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in the United States seeks an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support a large data center project. You will collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to coordinate safety, budgets, schedules, and trade coordination.

This role requires ensuring timely submittals, managing procurement, preparing close-out documents, and maintaining project logs, while upholding AP's safety culture and advancing project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering with 2+ years of project management experience.
• Or an associate degree in construction management with 4+ years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of shop drawing submittal, plan reading, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, P6, Bluebeam and Prolog.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules; update master construction schedule with leadership input.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs; maintain project logs for progress meetings.
• Manage material procurement, submittal approvals, fabrication and delivery status.
• Ensure timely submittal process and changes with owners and trades.
• Lead meetings, generate minutes, support close-out and project documentation.
