Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to lead on-site operations on Data Center Projects near Alexandria, LA. You will collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence for projects generally under $5 million or as a component of larger ventures.

Responsibilities include coordinating field operations, training crews, reviewing drawings, managing costs, and driving site safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, P6, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong safety focus with OSHA 30 credentials or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities and safety.
• Coordinate with Superintendent/PM to manage schedule, quality and trades.
• Review plans, drawings, and specs; maintain updated drawings.
• Control cost codes, budgets and production units for assigned areas.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure zero-incident culture.
• Collaborate with pre-construction and planning teams.
• Support business development and client relationships.
