Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Development Program Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, pre-construction and construction activities on a given project. You will interact with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff and communicate updates clearly.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Science/Engineering or equivalent, 8+ years in commercial construction, proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in commercial construction, including Lump Sum, CMAR, and Design-Build delivery.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for executive updates and budgets.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create monthly updates for executive reviews.
• Develop master development program and capital budget with teams.
• Manage entitlements and permitting for sites.
• Review and approve monthly pay apps and change orders.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product teams on deals.
