Align Communications in the Atlanta metro area seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee tenant fit-out of hyperscale data center white space in colocation environments. You will manage trades, sequencing, QC, and delivery of mission critical infrastructure on local projects with ~50% travel.

The role requires 5-10+ years in data center construction, strong coordination skills, QA/QC, and the ability to lead multiple subs to meet schedule and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in data center environments.
• Proven experience managing white space fit-out/tenant improvement projects in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, trade coordination, and site management.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes for overhead installations and supporting structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects.
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead cable trays, ladder rack conveyance, and structural supports.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
• Enforce QA/QC, monitor schedule and budget, and identify risks.
• Support commissioning and handover of data center spaces.
