Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. This role requires coordinating trades, sequencing work, ensuring quality, and delivering mission-critical infrastructure onsite in the Atlanta metro area.

The ideal candidate has data center construction management experience, knowledge of containment, overhead conveyance, structural supports, cooling, and low-voltage cabling.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in construction management, preferably data centers.
• Experience with white space fit-out in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong construction sequencing and site management knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet schedules.
• Strong QA/QC processes for overhead installations.
• PM skills including scheduling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects.
• Oversee installation of containment, overhead cable trays, ladder racks, and cooling infrastructure.
• Manage trade contractors and ensure proper sequencing to maintain schedule.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
• Enforce QA/QC to meet design specs and load requirements.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and risks; resolve issues.
• Support commissioning and handover processes.
