Job summary

Align seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee hyperscale data center white space fit-out in the Atlanta area. You will manage trades, sequencing, quality control, and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure across multiple sites with travel outside Georgia as needed.

The role requires 5–10+ years in data center construction, strong QA/QC knowledge, and excellent coordination with contractors and clients. This is a full-time, onsite position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in construction management, preferably data center or mission-critical environments
• Experience leading white space fit-out/tenant improvement projects in colocation or hyperscale data centers
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and site management
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection of overhead/installations
• Project management skills including scheduling and budgeting
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and client communication

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead cable trays, ladder racks, structural supports, HVAC, and PDU distribution
• Manage trade contractors and ensure proper sequencing to maintain schedule
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
• Enforce QA/QC to meet design specs and load requirements
• Monitor schedule, budget, and progress; identify and resolve risks/issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings; verify installation tolerances
• Support commissioning and handover processes
