Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. This role manages trades, sequencing, quality control and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have data center experience, knowledge of containment, overhead cable tray/ladder rack systems, structural supports, cooling components, and low-voltage cabling. Procore experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in data center environments.
• Experience managing white space fit-out/tenant improvements in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and site management.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge, including inspection of support systems and overhead installations.
• PM skills including scheduling and budgeting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong stakeholder and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects.
• Oversee installation of containment, overhead cable tray systems, ladder rack conveyance, and HVAC/cooling infrastructure.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to maintain schedule.
• Enforce QC processes to meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings related to supports and overhead systems.
• Support commissioning and handover processes.
