Job summary

Align Communications is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. You will manage all aspects of tenant fit-out construction, coordinating trades, sequencing work, ensuring quality, and delivering mission-critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in data-center construction, deep knowledge of containment, overhead cabling, cooling systems, and strong QA/QC, safety, and client

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in data centers.
• Proven experience leading white space fit-outs in colocation or hyperscale environments.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and maintain schedule.
• Excellent stakeholder and client communication skills.
• Familiarity with containment systems, overhead cabling, and cooling infra.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-outs.
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead cable trays, and cooling infrastructure.
• Coordinate trades, sequencing of work, and site safety compliance.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for overhead systems.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and risks; ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with clients, GCs, and subcontractors to deliver projects.
