Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. This role manages trades, sequencing of work, quality control, and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure onsite in the Atlanta metro area.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in data center construction, strong knowledge of containment, overhead cable tray, structural supports, and HVAC/power distribution.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience in mission-critical or data center environments.
• Experience managing white space fit-out/tenant improvement projects in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and site management.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule.
• QA/QC processes for support systems and overhead installations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects.
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead cable tray, ladder rack systems, and cooling infrastructure.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to maintain schedule.
• Enforce QC processes to meet design specs and industry standards.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and progress; identify and resolve risks/issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings related to supports and overhead systems.
• Support commissioning and handover processes.
