QTS Realty Trust in the United States seeks a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction on multiple campuses. The role interfaces with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication skills for executive updates and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Lump Sum, CM@ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods.
• Strong communication and executive-update skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design, preconstruction, and construction activities on projects.
• Maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports for each project.
• Prepare monthly executive-level development program updates.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, design teams, and contractors.
• Develop site development plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Review pay applications and change orders from contractors.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent
