Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager in Herndon, VA to lead construction oversight for new AWS data centers. You will direct electrical and mechanical systems work and own cost, schedule, and quality outcomes on site.

You will collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to deliver energy-efficient data centers that support our customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or construction program management of large, complex projects involving large‑scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants

Responsibilities

• Lead construction project management for new builds and capital projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget.
• Interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout.
• Conduct bid evaluations, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control and reporting of key metrics.
• Drive cost, schedule, and quality with vendors and contractors.
