Job summary

The Boldt Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of complex data center construction projects in Glencoe, MN, with travel across the Midwest. You will coordinate daily field activities, site logistics, and trade partner execution while maintaining safety, quality, and accountability to drive successful turnovers.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of a high school degree with training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Five years industry experience and two years supervisory experience in construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
• Understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise teams.
• Must have basic understanding of craft jurisdiction and working under collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to read construction plans, layout projects from scaled plans, operate grade reading equipment (transit and laser level). Total station knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to show leadership and be calm under pressure.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field activities and site logistics with Superintendents and trade partners.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, safety and quality initiatives, and inspections.
• Support schedule execution and material/equipment tracking to meet turnover targets.
• Help monitor cost control and enforce workmanship standards on mission-critical projects.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
