Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Manager of Construction (MOC) – Data Center Operations to lead delivery of a substantial EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 data center client. The role interfaces with sales, contracts, and the business, driving successful project outcomes, safety, and lean delivery practices.

You will guide staffing, mentor site managers, and ensure cost, schedule, and quality controls while coordinating with Digital Delivery teams and clients on delivery improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience managing construction projects related to data centers, industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, target values, and to mitigate risk and issues.
• Experience leading very-large scale green-field projects and managing site managers and construction teams.
• OSHA 30 training and professional certifications ( CCM, PE, or PMP ).
• Knowledge of Polaris, revenue recognition, project reviews and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 Data Center client.
• Lead implementation through to project closeout and interface between projects and the business.
• Collaborate with sales to identify staffing opportunities and support negotiations of contracts and rates.
• Oversee health and safety, cost, schedule, quality and client issues; participate in gate reviews.
• Provide training, coaching, and career development for Site Managers and construction teams.
