Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Manager of Construction (MOC) – Data Center Operations to lead the delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 data center client. You will interface between projects and the business, guiding construction-driven delivery and closeout.

You will work with Sales to identify staffing opportunities, support contract negotiations, and implement design approaches. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing construction projects for data centers or large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design, design-build methods and building systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, risks and budget impacts.
• Experience leading large-scale green-field projects and managing trade partners.
• Safety leadership, QA/QC planning, and compliance with HSE procedures.
• OSHA 30 training; CCM/PE/PMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the EPCMV portfolio for a Tier-1 Data Center client from initiation to closeout.
• Lead construction management by coordinating teams, schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify staffing opportunities and support contracts.
• Oversee safety, quality, cost, risk and client issues across projects.
• Partner with digital delivery teams and clients to improve project delivery.
