Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Manager of Construction (MOC) – Data Center Operations to lead project delivery for a Tier-1 data center client. You will interface between projects and the business, guiding construction management and EPCMV activities from pre-construction through closeout.

You will collaborate with sales, manage staffing and training for site teams, and drive safety, lean delivery, and quality programs across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Construction Management or related.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing construction projects (data centers, industrial, or commercial).
• Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, building systems, contracts, delivery methods, team-building, and client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and mitigate risk/issues.
• Experience leading site managers and construction teams on multiple projects.
• Experience with very large-scale green-field projects.
• Ability to manage trade partners at principal levels.
• Committed to safety; works with safety director on HSE procedures and planning.
• Committed to quality; plans and manages project QA/QC.
• Lean construction delivery experience; adaptable to lean methods.
• OSHA 30 training.
• Certifications: CCM, PE, or PMP.
• Familiarity with sales processes: value propositions, proposals, client presentations.
• Experience with Polaris: revenue recognition, project reviews, planning.
• Familiarity with construction software; ability to learn Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 Data Center client.
• Interface between projects and the business; lead construction management and EPCMV efforts.
• Support sales with pre-construction and contract negotiations; define delivery approaches.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance reviews for site managers and teams.
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast margins and coordinate with other BUs.
• Ensure health, safety, risk, cost, schedule, and quality controls; participate in gate reviews.
