Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Manager of Construction (MOC) – Data Center Operations to lead project delivery for a Tier-1 data center client, interfacing between projects and the business and guiding EPCMV initiatives through closeout.

You will manage staffing with sales, mentor site managers, ensure safety, schedule, cost and quality, and collaborate with digital delivery and clients to drive continuous improvements across large, green-field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing construction projects for data centers or related facilities.
• Knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, building systems, contract management, and delivery methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, risks, and issues.
• Experience leading site managers and construction teams on multiple projects.
• Experience with very large scale green-field projects.
• Lean construction delivery experience and ability to adapt to lean methods.
• OSHA 30 training.
• Certifications: CCM, PE, or PMP.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier‑1 Data Center client from project start to closeout.
• Interface between projects and the business, driving construction‑driven delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales to staff opportunities and support contract negotiations.
• Oversee safety, quality, cost, schedule, and risk; report performance and participate in gate reviews.
• Partner with digital delivery teams and interface with clients on delivery improvements.
