Job summary

ABB is seeking a CoE Field Service Operations Manager for the Data Center Division in the United States. The role leads day-to-day service activities, drives strategy, and ensures high customer satisfaction across the Data Center Services Center of Excellence.

You will manage surge team operations, including onboarding and timesheet validation, while coaching engineers for high-quality execution. The position is remote within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or commensurate experience.
• Knowledge of data center start-up/commissioning strategies and field service personnel development.
• Experience with MS Project, Google Workspace, SAP, and project-issue resolution tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day data center service execution for the Center of Excellence.
• Develop and review field service strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Drive customer focus, urgency, and end-to-end service delivery.
• Oversee surge team operations, onboarding, training, and timesheet validation.
• Coach and develop Field Service Engineers/Technicians for quality execution.
