Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist for a Corpus Christi, TX project. You will resolve technical issues in drawings and specifications, liaise with engineering teams, and provide on-site interpretation and change-management support.

The role offers exposure to data center construction in a cutting-edge field with mentorship and growth opportunities within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 8–10 years in construction management of heavy-industrial facilities including life sciences and datacenters.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Engage in resolving in-progress issues, discrepancies, or disputes related to drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering documents and drawings; input to change management.
• Engage in permitting with AHJs and field design revision processes.
• Mentor subordinate team members toward objectives.
