Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions seeks an Account Manager to grow profitable sales within our Data Center distribution channel. Reporting to the North America Sales Manager, you will expand new business and support existing partners in a territory primarily in Texas.

You will leverage data center expertise to articulate the value of system-based solutions, build strong distributor relationships, and drive pipeline through a professional sales process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the data center industry, technical sales, or related manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with channel partners to identify and secure new business opportunities, meeting sales and pipeline goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and indirect customers as the primary field sales representative.
• Utilize a professional sales process to understand customer needs, present appropriate solutions, and drive profitable growth.
• Plan and execute sales strategies, conduct quarterly business reviews, and provide product training for assigned partners.
• Gather and report market intelligence using CRM software and provide regular updates to sales management.
