Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team across locations in the United States. You will work closely with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, from RFPs to turnover, with mentorship toward becoming a Project Manager.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering and 2+ years on large building projects. Onsite work and strong collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining project governance, conducting field quality control of the craft trades at site, and ensuring successful project turnover.
• Your education and experience will be engaged on a daily basis, and you will be mentored in the more complex aspects of project management and building relationships as you progress towards becoming a Project Manager.

Education
