Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas, the world's largest HVAC company, seeks a National Business Development Manager to lead aftermarket service growth in the Data Center market remotely across the U.S. You will drive maintenance agreements, pricing strategies, and cross‑district initiatives.

This role partners with District Service, National Accounts and Sales to turn equipment customers into long-term service customers, while balancing profitability and customer satisfaction in mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years relevant experience, including 5+ years of management, leadership, business development, or strategic sales experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national strategy for Data Center aftermarket service growth.
• Partner with District Service organizations to price, propose, negotiate, and secure new Data Center maintenance agreements and other aftermarket service opportunities.
• Serve as the national Data Center service subject matter expert, providing guidance on operations, requirements, and market trends.
• Meet with SVP of Sales and VP of National Accounts to understand market activity and customer requirements.
• Develop standardized Data Center maintenance programs and scopes of work across District Service organizations.
• Establish and maintain national pricing strategies balancing customer requirements and profitability.
• Develop strategies to convert equipment customers into long-term service customers and expand relationships.
• Support District Service teams on strategic Data Center opportunities, including meetings and proposals.
• Coordinate national opportunities to provide a consistent service experience while maintaining local ownership.
• Create tools, templates, pricing methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Analyze installed base, relationships, market trends, and margins to identify opportunities.
• Establish KPIs for data center aftermarket service, including bookings, revenue, and renewals.
• Provide training and expertise to improve understanding of the Data Center market.
