Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an Account Manager II, FDO, to grow relationships with Contractors, Consultants and End Users for AC Power and Thermal solutions in the Hayward, CA area. You will coordinate with sales reps, present solutions, and manage customer opportunities to exceed quotas.

The role demands travel across the territory, strong CRM usage, and the ability to develop and deliver compelling proposals while mentoring teammates and strengthening key client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• Proven large account sales and account management experience.
• Understanding of contractors, consultants, and end users for Data Center applications.
• CRM tools proficiency and managing order pipelines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a sales plan and pursuit strategy for each existing account and finds new opportunities and new clients, respectively.
• Develops new long-term and strengthens existing relationships as a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
• Negotiates product opportunities while also bringing in other team members to find and secure cross-selling opportunities.
• Manages the order to meet all customer and consultant requirements to maximize profitability to the office and company.
• Supports new company initiatives to help the company succeed.
• Achieves progressively increasing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and orders quotas while actively managing an expanding pipeline of opportunities.
• Trains and mentors less experienced team members.
