Job summary

Shoptalk, based in Phoenix, seeks a Data Analyst II to join our Operations Analytics team. You will blend quantitative and qualitative skills to boost operational decision-making through analysis, visualization, and predictive insights.

You will tackle capacity planning, workload forecasting, and call center analytics, translating data into actionable business recommendations for leaders. This role is hybrid with on-site days Tue-Thu.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in data analysis and visualization
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data query/mining techniques
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI and Python for statistics
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with data modeling concepts and data wrangling

Responsibilities

• Consult with operations leaders to identify problems and opportunities using data
• Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and insights for business questions
• Build data models and run analyses to inform decisions
• Apply forecasting and statistical methods to quantify impact of decisions
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations with clear visuals and storytelling
• Manage multiple analytics projects with attention to detail and deadlines
• Define KPIs and analytical frameworks for dashboards and decision support
