Job summary

Anderson Merchandisers, LLC in Plano is seeking a Retail Analysis & Insights Analyst II to transform complex data into actionable business insights. You will develop SQL queries, build dashboards, and deliver clear recommendations to Operations, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, and HR.

The role emphasizes analytics partnering, data quality, and proactive opportunities identification in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, CS, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on SQL experience with large-scale data repositories.
Minimum 2 years building and maintaining BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, Sigma, or similar platforms.
At least 2 years of experience synthesizing data into actionable recommendations adopted by the business.
Experience using Python to support data analysis, automation, or analytics workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards that communicate trends and performance.
Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with Technology and Analytics teams to validate datasets.
Proactively identify inefficiencies and suggest analytics process improvements.
