Job summary

Thunder is seeking a Chief Architect to lead the architecture practice in a remote-first, global team. You will set standards, govern cross-cloud, data, and AI solution design, and ensure architectural excellence across high-stakes engagements.

You will influence pre-sales, guide complex integrations (REST/SOAP, MuleSoft), and mentor the architect community while maintaining executive-level credibility with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in enterprise and/or Salesforce architecture roles.
• Experience leading architecture practice and setting technical standards.
• Deep Salesforce platform knowledge across Sales, Service, Experience, plus cross-cloud fluency.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture function and set direction, cadence, and governance.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and integration guardrails.
• Lead multi-cloud programs and ensure coherent data model consistency.
• Own data and AI architecture strategy for client solutions, including guardrails for trust and security.
• Provide architectural oversight on high-stakes pursuits and pre-sales design.
• Represent Thunder externally through client engagements and thought leadership.
