Job summary

SPD Technology is seeking a Staff Architect to translate business initiatives into scalable architectural visions and to design cost-efficient solutions across cloud-native environments. You will lead architectural decisions and coach teams while driving AI-enabled workflows and modern tooling.

This fully remote role requires strong communication with Product and Engineering, plus experience across multi-stack architectures, cloud platforms, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong core engineering principles.
• 3+ years designing complex multi-stack architectures (Java, C#, Python, microservices, data analytics).
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate technical vision to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level business initiatives into architectural vision and standards.
• Devise scalable, cost-efficient solutions with product and engineering teams.
• Author AI-ready solution specifications and integrate AI-enabled workflows.
• Drive system evolution with well-defined target and interim states.
• Describe technical context for both engineers and senior stakeholders.
