Job summary

U.S. Financial Technology is seeking a Principal, Cloud Solutions Architect for a full-time remote role. You will lead hands-on cloud development, architecture decisions, and act as the technical interface to clients and leadership.

You will engage senior engineers, cybersecurity, data/AI, and infrastructure teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, while maintaining high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale software applications.
• 5+ years of experience in an AWS environment.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship currently or in the future.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK/SAM).
• Experience with web apps (React).
• Experience designing relational database transactions.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs; GraphQL a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Java/TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable distributed solutions across the full cloud stack.
• Design APIs and data models for frontend/backend integration.
• Ensure security, performance, uptime, and scale of platforms.
