CapTech is seeking a Data Architect to align client business goals with data technologies and delivery capabilities. You will lead architectural strategy, govern data flows, and collaborate with engineers to implement state-of-the-art data solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data architecture, expertise with cloud services, Snowflake/DataBricks, and real-time data tooling, and thrive in a consultative environment driving value for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing with on-premises and cloud data technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in end-to-end data architectures including ingestion, storage, and relational modeling using SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), real-time data distribution (Kafka/Kinesis/DataFlow/Airflow), NoSQL databases and modern data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Assess and advocate data management technologies, closing gaps between current and future states.
• Articulate architectural trade-offs across solutions to meet business needs and client culture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize data value across the organization.
• Lead staff development and share delivery learnings to improve future projects.
