Job summary

MGT Consulting Group is seeking a Cloud and Data Chief Architect to lead the technical and commercial aspects of the practice. You will guide cloud/data strategy, shape offerings, pricing, and performance standards while collaborating with sales, OEM partners, and delivery teams.

Approximately half of your time closes the largest deals with customer-facing leadership; the rest focuses on packaging offerings and enabling the sales organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years hands-on technology experience in relevant fields.
• 5+ years pre-sales engineering or solution architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy and pricing for large complex pursuits.
• Lead executive-level presentations and architect-level reviews.
• Manage deals, discounts, and margin escalations for strategic pursuits.
• Refactor offerings and enable presales and sales teams.
• Own OEM/vendor relationships and subcontractor management.
• Embed AI into workflows to accelerate design and proposals.
• Deliver monthly performance updates on wins, sales, and adoption.
