Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers for Data 360, the real-time data engine unifying sources across enterprises. You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360 inside customer environments, translating designs into robust implementations for ingestion, harmonization, identity, insights, and activation.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in software/data engineering, a CS degree or equivalent, and hands-on experience with Salesforce Data 360, SQL, Apex, Python, and Java.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in software/data engineering or technical implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or equivalent.
• Proficient in SQL and modern programming languages (Apex/Java/Python).

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy data integrations inside enterprise customer environments.
• Develop ingestion, identity resolution, and data pipeline components.
• Design secure, scalable agent data interfaces and MCP communications.
• Collaborate with architects, deployment strategists, and customer teams.
• Ensure tests cover happy paths, edge cases, and performance.
