Job summary

Paychex is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead district sales efforts and expand the client base by executing targeted programs aligned with corporate guidelines. Your role focuses on growth and achieving district objectives.

You will recruit, direct and train sales staff, manage budgets, and ensure accurate reporting while representing the company in the community. This is an on-site leadership role driving results and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing.
• 3 years of experience in Sales or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage achievement of corporate objectives within district responsibility and budgets.
• Recruit, select and direct sales staff to meet/exceed goals; monitor attainment vs forecast.
• Identify potential management candidates and refer to Zone Manager.
• Manage line items of budgets and expenses.
• Project a positive company image to clients and the community.
• Collaborate with branch managers to set mutual objectives and solve issues.
• Ensure weekly activity reports and commissions/expenses are audited.
• Initiate and supervise ongoing training of sales representatives in product knowledge and sales skills.
