Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is hiring for Milk Receiving, Vat Setting and Separator Operations relief coverage in a 24/7 dairy facility. You will safely operate processing equipment, follow procedures, and support production when regular operators are absent. The role covers the 6:00 p.m.

– 2:00 a.m. shift with potential flex due to call-ins. Minimum two years in dairy or food manufacturing is preferred, along with strong math skills and ability to work in a high-trust, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in food manufacturing; dairy experience preferred.
• Strong math and measurement skills and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief coverage for Milk Receiver, Vat Setter and Separator Operator.
• Receive milk and dairy ingredients per procedures and unloads.
• Verify load information, seals, paperwork; report discrepancies.
• Connect, operate and disconnect hoses, pumps, valves and lines; monitor levels.
• Set vats per production schedule and formulas; manage processing steps.
• Operate separators; monitor conditions and adjust as needed.
• Complete start-up/shutdown, cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Collect samples and perform quality checks; notify deviations.
