Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a 12-hour D Shift Operator to support 24/7 dairy production, including milk receiving, pasteurization and filling operations, with strict adherence to SOPs.

You will monitor quality, record production data, perform CIP/SIP, and adjust equipment while maintaining safety and GMP compliance.

A high school diploma and 2 years in food manufacturing preferred; SAP/ERP familiarity and strong math skills are a plus; shift premium applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, preferably dairy.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/SAP.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Understanding of QA/QC concepts and food safety (HACCP, GMP).

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in milk receiving, pasteurization, batching/blend and product filling.
• Follow SOPs in detail without deviation.
• Inspect bulk tanker and collect raw dairy samples for sensory evaluation and testing.
• Hook up tanker trucks and off-load dairy products safely.
• Perform CIP and SIP operations; manage product blends per customer specs.
• Review fill weights and packaging quality; document variances.
• Identify out-of-spec product conditions and report to supervisor.
• Operate lift truck and complete production records accurately.
• Assist with audits and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support other departments as needed.
