Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee the entire facility or a department during a shift. You will ensure safety, quality, production, and sanitation standards are met while providing hands-on leadership on the floor.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily production, optimizing efficiencies, managing labor, and enforcing GMP/SQF policies. This role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills and may involve on/off-line duties as determined by

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred at some facilities.
• 5+ years in Dairy Manufacturing with possible 3 years at supervisory level in production.
• HTST pasteurization experience (site-dependent).
• Experience with inventory management systems (site-dependent).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production and cleaning activities to meet objectives.
• Maximize production efficiency and minimize waste.
• Maintain positive employee relations and labor efficiency.
• Address operational, maintenance, and personnel issues promptly.
• Provide leadership for department staff including scheduling and training.
• Communicate clearly with employees and management.
• Enforce GMP, SQF, safety, and quality policies.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with control, service, and warehousing to fulfill orders.
