Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee an entire facility or department during shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and timely operations. The role provides on‑the‑floor leadership for daily departmental activities and may switch on/offline as directed by the Manager.

You will coordinate production and sanitation tasks, optimize efficiency, and resolve issues while maintaining strong labor relations and high morale. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred at some facilities.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Dairy Manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience likely required.
• HTST pasteurization experience may be site-dependent.
• Experience with inventory management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production and cleaning activities and schedules to meet business objectives.
• Ensure production efficiencies are maximized and waste is minimized.
• Provide leadership for department employees including scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, Safety, Quality, and Regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with employees, peers, and management.
